The passing of Mary (Fresina) Scarano (Utica, New York) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 97. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Fresina and Grace Fresina (Silipo); her parents-in-law, Vitantonio and Barbara Scarano (Conte); and her siblings-in-law, Leonard, June Scarano and Maria Grazia Scarano.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Roser (late Gordon Roser), Gina, Darryl Marks, Christine Conte (Nick Kowalchuk) and Carl A. Scarano; her grandchildren, Derek, Beth Marks and Angela Aurigema (Marks); her children, Gianna (Conte), Colin Crooks and Alessandra Conte; her great grandchildren, Joseph Aurigema, Nina Aurigema and Nathaniel Marks; and her caregivers, Utica and Liverpool. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. (932 South St, Utica, NY 13501). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Mother of Our Savior Parish (2222 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502).
