She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Flagler and Loretta Flagler (Danquer); her son James F. McGivern; her siblings, Francis "Pepper" Flagler, Robert E. (Betty Flagler), Rosemary (Jack Hart) and Jack (Susan Flagler); and her parents-in-law, Thomas E., Sr. and Helen McGivern (Keinz).
She is survived by: her husband Henry "Bud"; her children, Nancy C. Fuller, Linda Agen, Diane, Mike Meliosky, Kathleen McGivern, Brian, Karen McGivern, Steven McGivern and Maureen Fredericks; and her grandchildren, Charles, Jr., Rebecca Fuller, Jeffrey, Jolyn DeStefanis, Allison DeStefanis, Michelle, Dave Gildersleeve, Jessica, Josh Kohout, Amanda, Adam Schriener, Katherine McGivern, Kevin McGivern, Ian McGivern, Kayleigh Fredericks and Melissa Amy "Missy" Fuller. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren, her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of floral offerings, memorial contributions in Mary Lou's honor may be made to St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church, 422 Tilden Ave., Utica, NY 13501; envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
