She was predeceased by: her parent Louis Berarde; her brother Joseph Spitali; and her siblings-in-law, Gert Spitali, Sarah, Raymond Cullinan, Rose, Anthony Russo, Genevieve and Thomas Varrasa.

She is survived by: her parent Josephine Berarde (Vescio); her spouse Robert W. Kempton; her children, Robin K. Wilson, John Wilson, Roxanne K. Mutchler, John Mutchler and Robert W. Kempton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Anthony Dardano, Leigh Ann, Michael Dillon, Jacob A. Mutchler, Christine Keyser and Michael DeMarchena; her great grandchildren, Anthony Dardano, Vincenzo Dardano, Evelyn Dillon and James Dillon; her sister Diane Pohlman; her sister-in-law Pat Berarde; her friends, Georgianne, Nick Ide, Margaret, Frank Jakubowski, Penny and Leonard Milano; and also Judy Riggi. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews.
