She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Freeman and Ruby Jewel Freeman (Carter); her siblings, Everee McKay, Betty Freeman, Quincy Freeman, Willie "Billy" Freeman, Charles "Bubba" Freeman, George Freeman, Bobby Freeman and Raymond Freeman; her godson Lyle Johnson; and her father-in-law Eddie Butler (Harris).
She is survived by: her husband Milton C. Butler; her children, Durene Brown and Christopher Freeman (Laconduas); her grandchildren, Michael Brown, Khalil Chance and Kali Freeman; her great grandchildren, Naima and Rahim Zorome; her godchildren, Vanessa Tucker, Justine Samuel Ampofo (Kelvin), Christine Samuel and Alan Henderson; her siblings, Henry C. Freeman (late Barbara Freeman) and Mamie Dell Martin (late Robert Martin); and her sisters-in-law, Deborah Freeman (late Bobby Freeman) and Mary Freeman (late Charles "Bubba" Freeman).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Temple Church of God in Christ (110 Washington St, Utica, NY 13502). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
