Martin Skermont Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Skermont of Utica, New York, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Skermont and Amanda Skermont (Krause); his son Martin S. Skermont, Jr.; and his siblings, Sharon Buczek and Keith Skermont.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Fortugno; his daughters, Tammy Lynn Skermont of Utica and Tania M. Skermont of Utica; his grandchildren, Deondra Skermont, Teyonna Skermont, Nathanil Skermont, Tekell Henry, Javon Pittman and Destiny Pittman; his grandchildren-in-law, Betty of Florida and Max Lupini of Florida; and his grandchildren, Paul Skermont of Florida, Albert Skermont of Alder Creek, Tim, Debra Skermont of Remsen, Tina and Dave Simmons of Edmeston. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, in-laws, and many special friends.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and in keeping with Marty's wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
