He was predeceased by: his siblings, William (Eloise), Anna, Margaret (Al Barton) and Ann Louise; and also Rosemary McNamara.

He is survived by: his parents, Martin Zimmerhalek and Anna Zimmerhalek; his wife Betty; his daughter Linda (Robert Hansen); his brother-in-law Jack McNamara; his friends, Edward Cossette (Amy) and Mass; and also, Laura and Brian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
