It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariano Durso of Utica, New York, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paolo Durso and Assunta Durso (DiCuffa); his sister Olivia; his brother-in-law Raffaele Ruggiero; his brother Joseph Durso; and his sister-in-law Deborah Durso.
He is survived by: his wife Elisa Ciocca; his children, Maria (Robert DeGristina), Rose (Robert Siriano) and Paul; his grandchildren, Nancy Polizzi (Jordan), Melissa Siriano (Justin Meeker), Danielle Fanelli (John), Dana Siriano, Alyssa Nicoletta (Mark) and Cody Durso; his great grandchildren, John Salvatore Fanelli, Vincent Gennaro Meeker and Joseph Mariano Fanelli; his brothers, Raymond and Anthony Durso; his close friends, Vincenzo Cutrona and Joe Plado; and his brothers, Italian and Dr. Nalini J. Namassivaya. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
