She was predeceased by: her parents, Domenico Arcuri and Giutta Morabito Arcuri; and her son-in-law Ronald Talarico. She is survived by: her husband John F. Chiricosta; her children, Maria E. Chiricosta of Utica, Rose Talarico of New Hartford, Pasquale (Cathy Chiricosta) and Dominick (RoseAnne Chiricosta); her grandchildren, Steve (Angela Chiricosta), Lisa (Kenneth Smith), Dr. Frank (Tracey Chiricosta), Santina (Wayne Pitcher), Sandra (John Guadagnini), Gina (Rocco Giruzzi) and Ronald (Christine Talarico); and her brother Anthony Arcuri of Italy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maria may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl.
