She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliza Phillips and Richardson; and her siblings, Walter, Ulysee, John, Willie "Bill" Phillips and Loretta Hatter (Lindsey McCants).

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Goff (Ali), Percy Phillips of Utica, Alex Steele, Jr. (Manny Man) of Utica and Justin Phillips (Shamiya) of Utica; and her sister Sylvia Hymon (Noris) of Utica. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Due to Covid and social distancing, visitation is limited to immediate family and masks are required.
