She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Way and Lucy Way (Byrne); her husband William; her children, Lucy (Larry Derdzinski), Alice (Christopher Flynn), Deerfield, William (MaryAnn Schultz), Walter (Lynette) and Charles (Elizabeth Schultz); her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Way, Angela Schultz and Grace Schultz; and her siblings, Helene Booth and Walter Way. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, a third great grandchild.
