He was predeceased by : his parents, John DeSantis and Elena "Helen" DeSantis (Cecilia); his sisters, Mimma (Olvidio Ceccotti), Yolanda (Peter DePaolis) and Louise (Leonard DeGrace); his parents-in-law, Donald and Rose Testa (DeTraglia); his nephew Mark J. DeGrace; and his niece Renee Martin Bouras.

He is survived by : his significant other Linda M. Testa; his daughters, Lisa (Larry Crossett), Laken (Victor Falcon) and Lauren; his grandchildren, Courtney, Kenny Tinsley, Jr., Cassidy, Connor Graff, Cullen Crossett, Angela Lince, Shanley Crossett, Louis Gonzalez and Jaelin Gonzalez; his great grandchildren, Kenneth "Bubby" Tinsley III and Newton Tinsley; his grandchildren, Rhea Graff and Alton Graff; and his in-laws, Diana, Peter Martin and Carole Dapice. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. (932 South St, Utica, NY 13501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
