With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda M. (Cannistra) Sokolowski (Utica, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Linda M. left this world on March 30, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominick Cannistra and Antoinette Cannistra (Pragliola); and her parents-in-law, Bernard and Ruth Sokolowski (Cookinham). She is survived by: her husband Fred; her daughter Jodi; her son-in-law Gary Heenan; her son Jeffrey "Jeff"; her daughter-in-law Lisa Sokolowski; her grandchildren, Riley Heenan, Jack Heenan, Lauren Sokolowski and Andrew Sokolowski; her sisters, Angela (John Storey) and Joann (Joseph Palumbo); her in-laws, Joan Marie Sokolowski (late Thomas Sokolowski), Michael Dale Strife (late Patricia Strife), Edward Sokolowski and J. Hall; and also Terry Pugliese. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church (422 Tilden Ave, Utica, NY 13501).
