He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Windecker; his siblings, Helen Hyer, Shirley Dolan and Harold Windecker; and his son-in-law Kelvin Sperry.
He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Farrington Windecker; his spouses, Jane L. Plante and Linda; his children-in-law, Alan Windecker of Utica, Dale Windecker (Deborah), Schuyler Costello, James Costello (Barbara) of Herkimer, Debra Windecker (Stephen Geer) of Fulton, Patti (Jack Sadler) of Parrottsville, TN, Melissa Sperry of Herkimer and Kimberly (Lisa Williams Costello) of Selinsgrove, PA; his grandchildren, Teressa, Kyle, Jesse, Kelsee, Kacey, Kaylla, Bryce, Sarah, James, Laura, Jessica and Angella; and also Peter. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
