Leo J. Schwenzfeier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo J. Schwenzfeier (Utica, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 19, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo J. Schwenzfeier to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Schwenzfeier and Leo Schwenzfeier; his stepfather Edward Schembeck; and his sisters, Christel Gawehn and Birgitta Schwenzfeier (Liesel).
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Mary's Church; his children, Sonya Schwenzfeier Christopher, Tara Murphy (Patrick), Tracy Hewett (Brad), Kurt Schwenzfeier (Barbara) and Kyle Schwenzfeier (Missy Bradshaw); his grandchildren, Caroline Long (Jesse), John Christopher (Kathryn Miller), Ashley Mounnarat (Tyler), Olivia Murphy, Kaia Murphy, Dustin, Mitchel, Alyson Aiello and Alexia Hewett; and his brothers, Ferdinand Schwenzfeier and Robert Schembeck. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wealth of lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Leo's memory to any of the following organizations that were near and dear to him: St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church, Utica Maennerchor, Whitesboro Fire Department, Hospice and Palliative Care Inc (4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford, NY 13413) or the American Heart Association.
