Leah P. (Paige) Swertfager Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah P. (Paige) Swertfager of Utica, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philo Paige and Gertrude Paige (Barnes); and her cousin Rear Admiral Willis C. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Swertfager; her daughters, Janis Jones of New Hartford and Karen Oeinck of Utica; her grandchildren, Kristine Shaffer (Shawn), Evan Jones, Teresa Melnikow (Nikolai) and Richard Oeinck (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Isabella, Morgan Shaffer, Bryson, Landon and Layla Oeinck; and her friend Evelyn Dryden.

Special thanks to Taylor and the staff at Sitrin Long Term Care Aspen House for caring for her and keeping her safe and well during this time of COVID when we could not be with her.
