It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lauren J. Hailston Sr. in Utica, New York, born in Herkimer, New York, who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Hailston and Lois Ann Hailston (Marshall); and his uncle Donald Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. Pennucci of Herkimer; his children, Melody Ann Collins (Joe) of Herkimer, Daniel John Hailston (Jessica) of Mohawk and Lauren J. Hailston, Jr. (Nancy) of Aurora; and his brother Bruce Hailston of Michigan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews and close personal friends.
It is the wish of the family that in lieu of floral offerings, donations be considered to the Abraham House of Utica, 1203 Kemble St., Utica, New York 13501, where Lauren received comforting and peaceful end of life care.
