He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Noel Woods and Kimneisha Brown; his siblings, Connie Boddie (Milton), Velma Woods, Dale Hunt and James Brown, Jr.; his father James Brown, Sr.; his grandchildren, Tyvon Reed, Zyquan Reed, Ymajinae Woods, Unijia Lawrence, Derrick Walton, Trevon Brown, Jadah Brown, Kiara Wilson, Kimora Brown, Veon Brown, Gary Washington and Ernest Brown; his mother Doretha; and his siblings, Nova Lee, Robert, Ronnie and Mary. He was also cherished by uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
