He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Blaney and Margaret Blaney (Lavey); and his son Matthew Blaney. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Blaney (Roberta); his daughters, Margaret Blaney (Dustin Manning) of Rochester, Elizabeth (Daniel McCusker), Sheila (Daryl Casler) and Janene (Phil Tirado); his grandchildren, Caroline, Patrick Nessler, Joseph McCusker, Mallory Casler, Christopher McCusker, Matthew McCusker, Mason Casler, Alex Tirado, Alena Tirado and Lola; and his sister Maureen Flanagan of Fairport.

“Dear Marilyn and family, I am at a loss for words finding out today that my dear friend, Kevin, has passed. We had a great relationship at work and spoke on the telephone often. He called me on my birthday for over 20 years and after I retired, I had him work with me at the Oneida Indian Court. He spoke often about "his girls" and their accomplishments. I will truly miss him and pray for him. RIP dear friend, we will meet again. Joe Albanese”
