She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel J. Shields and Mary Shields (Boppel); her brothers-in-law, Don Fairbrother and Frank Robertello; and her parents-in-law, Geraldine Weimer, Peter Lambert, William Brown, Morris and Margaret Eddins.
She is survived by: her husband Peter C. Brown, Jr.; her children, Mary Beth, Kevin Dowling, Marcy, Carolyn (Scott) and Amy (Duffy); her great grandchildren, Madison and Parker; her siblings, Mary Fairbrother, Joyce Robertello and Marcy; her sister-in-law Brenda Lambert; and her close friend Jean O'Neil. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Julia's name may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
