It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine M. Fanelli of Utica, New York, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore V. Molé and Elvira Molé (Marcantonio); and her brothers, Salvatore V. "Sam" Jr. (Carrie Molé) and Vito S. "Bucky" Molé. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Reneé Demma (Nick), Telicia Orloff (John), Michelle Britton (Jason), Nicholas Fanelli (Michelle), Nicole Piston (Joseph) and Christian G. Babiarz; her cousin Carrie Lindsay; and also Paul Rabbia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Social distancing and registration for contact tracing will be implemented.

“what a witty, fun, and beautiful woman she was! she always had me laughing with her funny comebacks to her son Paul. they would go back and forth and you could just feel the love between the two of them! they were inseparable, and always doing fun things together. i will miss her coming in to see me at babes and ordering her cheeseburger. (she would always eat the whole thing too!) may she rest in peace in heaven now watching over all of those she loved so dearly.”
