She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Yule and Philomena Yule (Rossi); her daughter Michelle Gargash; and her sister Phyllis Yule. She is survived by: her husband John C. Gargash (Church); her daughter Lisa Perreault of Ballston Spa, NY; her grandchildren, Nicole Welch, Jonathan and Michael Perreault; her great grandchildren, Kade and Owen; and her sister Margaret Wood of Averill Park, NY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Josephine's name may be made to MVHS Regional Cancer Center.
