He is survived by: his children, Joseph Ellis, Renee Ellis Leagan, Melissa Ellis (Pat Walters), Megan Ellis (John Constantine) and Robert Ellis (Liz DeSanctis); his stepchildren, Mike Lyman, Donald Lyman and Rick Lyman (Kim); his grandchildren, Brianna, Reilly, Rachel Leagan, Joe, Hannah, Joshua Ellis, Izabella Walters, Dominick Nieves, Julianna Constantine, Benjamin Ellis, Justin, Mikey, Donnie, Arica, Morgan and Kayla Lyman; and his siblings, Sandi Zegarelli, Scott Ellis (Pam), David Ellis (Sue) and Rick Ellis (Dru).
