With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. Bednarczyk (Utica, New York), who passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Bednarczyk and Mary Bednarczyk (Pedzimaz); his brothers, Anthony Bednarczyk, Lawrence Bednarczyk (Charlotte) and Chet Bednarczyk (Marilyn); his brother-in-law John "Jack" Hyde; and his niece Katie Hyde.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Francis (Mark) of Deerfield, Mary Hernon (Martin) of New Hartford, John Bednarczyk (Sharon) of Fairport, Paul Bednarczyk (Emily) of East Greenbush and James Bednarczyk (Maura) of Whitesboro; his grandchildren, Sarah Jones (Patrick), Melissa Francis, Julie Palumbo (Kristopher), Jennifer Francis, Amanda Hernon, Elizabeth Hernon, Rachael Hernon, Megan Bednarczyk, Kristen Bednarczyk, Lauren Bednarczyk, Erin Bednarczyk, Joseph Hernon (Sarafina), Michael Hernon (Anastasia), Todd Bednarczyk and Sean Bednarczyk; his great grandchildren, Joseph Hernon II, Isabella Hernon, Hunter Hernon, Declan Hernon, Arielle Jones and Patrick Jones; and his sister-in-law Janice Hyde. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
