He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John and Barbara (Bruen); his wife Terri Upton; his sons, John Stewart (Angela Ortiz) and Eric Stewart (Noelle); and his grandchildren, Sydney, Caden Green, Chelsea Stewart and Jonathan Stewart. He was also cherished by sister, and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; and cousins.
