He is survived by: his parents, Nicholas Matterese and Angela Matterese (Zito); his spouse Tiodosia Pagliarulo (Thea); his children, Angela Contento (Timothy) of Homer, Nicholas Matterese of Brooklyn, Gina Matterese of Saratoga Springs, Vito Matterese (Traci) of Ballston Lake and Thea Siracuse (Joseph) of Malta; his grandchildren, Giovanna Contento, Luke, Ryan, Evan Matterese, Peter and Nicolas Siracuse; and his sister Mary Tobin (Joseph) of New Hartford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends.
