He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Collver and Lois Collver (Bloomfield); his nephew Timothy (Charlotte); his sisters, Donna Harris and Mary Dewhurst; and his parents-in-law, Gene and Dorothy Brockett.
He is survived by: his parents-in-law, D. Susan Brockett, Church and John; his son David (Melody); his grandchild Alexis Rose; his children, Dorene Whaley (David) and James (Amy); his grandsons, Caleb and David Poe; his goddaughter Michele Blatt; his brother Michael (Gloria); his nephew Jason; his grandson Brighton; and also Mason Poe.
