He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Papaleo and Maria Papaleo (Castano); his siblings, Eleanor, Louie Frate, Anthony Papaleo, Frank and Elaine Pellegrino; and his parents-in-law, Frank, Clara Robilotta, Carmen, Ann Robilotta, Katherine and Simon Elhage.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Robilotta; his son John B., Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kathryn L. Papaleo; his son James J. Papaleo; his grandchildren, Alexandria R., Andrew Deno, Victoria A., Michael Phalen, Christina M. Papaleo and Cassandra R. Papaleo; and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Grace, Giana Teresa and Andrew S. Deno. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
