He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard P. "Dick" and Marie Trombetta (Perritano); his great-grandparents, Paul and Stella Perritano (Talento); his grandparents, George and Maria Sigbieny (DeFazio); and his aunt Regina Sigbieny.

He is survived by: his parents, John A. Sigbieny, Sr. and Mary Ellen Sigbieny (Trombetta); his sister Merissa "Sissy" Sigbieny; his grandmother Micky Trombetta (Sadowski); his great-uncle Richard DeFazio; and his cousin Kari Macero.

Then at age 12, he had a kidney transplant through his dad's donation.
