With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoEllen Hughes (Utica, New York), born in Herkimer, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2024 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hughes and Ruth Hughes (Quackenbush). She is survived by: her children, Scott VanDyke (Mary) of Oriskany, Kristin Van Dyke of Oriskany and Todd Van Dyke (Adeline); her sisters, Sherry Bolten (Dick) of Norway, NY and Susan Regan (Jack) of Little Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Danielle, Emilie, Andrew, Elizabeth and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Rory, Kaiden and Edward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
