She was predeceased by: her father John; her son Richard Hartnett; her sister Carolyn; her brother-in-law Donald Buckley; and her niece Linda Sagatis.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Hartnett; her children, Barbara (Dennis Elsenbeck), Robert Hartnett of Deerfield, Steve (Kathy Hartnett) and Cathy (Donald Allison); her grandchildren, Shane Hartnett, Dennis Elsenbeck (Amber Boyer), Jessica, Dr. Ryan O'Connell, Robert Hartnett, Brian Hartnett, Brendan, Angie Hartnett, Ryan Hartnett, Erin Hartnett, Michael, Pam Vosburgh, Melissa, Andrew Miller and Hannah Allison; her great grandchildren, Brayden Vosburgh and Grady Miller; and her brother John. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
