It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Fischer Sr. of Utica, New York, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Kathleen Fischer-Handzel, Cheryl Allen (Steve) and James Fischer, Jr. (Jeannine); his brother Ken Fischer, Sr. (Audrey); his grandchildren, Michael Fischer (Karie), Christopher Handzel (Deana), Marcy, Alexander Handzel, Caitlynn Kehoe (Brendan), Jared (Natalie), Abigail Fischer and Gillian Fischer; his great grandchildren, Rylie, Kaidan, Chayse Fischer, Cecelia, Madelyn Handzel and Chloe-Ann Kehoe; and his nieces and nephews, Ken Fischer, Jr. (Lynda), Bill (Kathy) of New Jersey, Tom Shea of New Jersey, Sandy Scheuer (Eric) of New Jersey and John Satter (Trisa) of New Jersey.
