He was predeceased by: his parent James A. Covey, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Leona of Ilion; his daughters, Lisa Sorenson (Kevin) of Rome, Jami Macias (Norman Bessette) of Fayetteville, NC and Julia Covey of Fayetteville, NC; his sisters, Carol Jowett (Tom) of Clinton and Katherine Apel; his daughters, Hope of Utica and Tiffany of Utica; his grandchildren, Crystal Linebeck, Taylor Linebeck (Edwin Colon), Kayla Macias, Michael Bessette and Justin Bessette; and his great grandchildren, Abagale Garcia, Johannah Colon and Jaydyn Colon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
