She was predeceased by: her niece Miabella Rose George. She is survived by: her parents, Thomas W. Hawkins and Patricia A. Hawkins (Femia); her caregiver Jaime; her children, Olivia Rae and Joseph "JoJo" Michael; her husband Joseph M. George; her sisters, Tricia (Matthew Pezdek) and Kimberly (Michael Capasso); her nephew Michael Thomas Capasso; her goddaughter Emmy Rose Capasso; her parents-in-law, Claudette George and Yousef George; her sister-in-law Nicole George; and her godmother Sandy Gaetano. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins.
After graduating and passing the NYS Boards to become a Registered Nurse, Jaime began her career at MVHS at St. Luke's Healthcare in the Critical Care and the ICU units, where she compassionately tended to many COVID patients during the pandemic.
In lieu of floral offerings, donations in Jaime's memory may be made to the family enabling them to establish an education fund for her children; envelopes will be available at the service.
