With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline J. Roback Purnie (Utica, New York), who passed away on January 1, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Roback and Sadie Cieslak Roback; her husband Henry Purnie; and her brothers, William, Bernard and Joseph Roback.

She is survived by: her brother Dr. Robert; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Roback of Utica, Stefi Roback of Webster and Jackie Roback of Rome. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to Holy Trinity Church or Thea Bowman House.
