He was predeceased by: his parents, John Otis and Katherine Overbaugh Kenyon Otis; his siblings, Jeanette Otis Schott, Donald Otis, Edward Otis and Paul Kenyon; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Hayman.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Anne Szot; his sons, Kevin Otis (Lori) of Schuyler and Jeffrey Otis (Patricia) of West Winfield; his brother Robert Kenyon (Nancy) of California; his grandchildren, Matthew (Tony Alardin), Zachary (Leea Tripple), Christopher (Tiffany Wagstaff), Amanda, John, Kathleen, Emily, Daniel and Haley; his niece Nicole Sherman (Ray); and his great-niece Amber Sherman.
