Isabelle R. (Rubbicco) Sfinas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabelle R. (Rubbicco) Sfinas of Utica, New York, born in Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Rubbicco (Maria) and Catherine Rubbicco (Magaldi); her husbands, Victor Fuccillo and Charles Sfinas; her son-in-law Donald Guzski; her siblings, Vincent Rubbicco, Philip (Stella Rubbicco), Frank Rubbicco, Lena (Dominick Salamina), Maria Catherine Cataldo (Dominick) and Carmella Rowland; her cousin Cathie R. LaBrie; and her friend Fran Ficano.

She is survived by: her children, Carmella Guzski, Catherine Lucia, Carl (Brenda Fuccillo), Frank Fuccillo (Linda Russo) and Christos Sfinas (Tammy Escue); her grandchildren, Greg Fuccillo, Shelly, Greg Patnod, Linda Fuccillo, Frank Fuccillo, Jr., Todd, Lisa Fuccillo, David, Graceann Guzski, Dawn Eberley, Mark, Denise, Tom Powers, Michael, Chrissie Lucia, Kristos Sfinas, Claire Griffith, Caitlyn, Taylor Loucks, Dustyn, Kylie Mierek and John "J. J."; her great grandchildren, Alex, Greg, Kayla, Dylan Patnod, Stephanie, Amanda Bien, Brianna, Alyssa Fuccillo, Victoria, Rick Hensel, David Guzski, Andrew, Matthew, Adam Eberley, Trevor Powers, Kayleigh, Natalee Lucia and Emorie Loucks; her great great grandchild Ella Hensel; her sisters, JoAnn O'Connor and Rosemary Geis; her nieces and nephews, Tony, Patti Rubbicco, Susan and Ernie Walge; and her cousin Rita LaBrie. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews.

Regardless of vaccination status, face masks are required, to remain in compliance with the county mask order.
