She was predeceased by: her parents, Wolfe Alpert and Eva Case Alpert; her spouse Meyer Cohen; her brothers, Manny, Nathan and Louis Alpert; and her daughter-in-law Muriel Cohen.
She is survived by: her children, Neil Cohen of Old Forge, Bob Cohen (Ellie) of Old Forge and Susan Shabo (John) of Teaticket, MA; her sister Thelma Blumberg of Israel; her grandchildren, Mindy Cohen, Jeffrey Cohen, Andy Shabo, Chester Cohen, Max Cohen and Ben Cohen; and her great grandchildren, Ari, Meyer, Miriam and Leah. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
