He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James, Sr. and Helen Mitchell (Beyer). He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mitchell (Stacy Siringo) of Utica, Henry James Mitchell, IV of Utica and Carl; his daughter-in-law Alicia Mitchell of Yorkville; his grandchildren, Justine, Michael, Jr., Carl, Jr., Roman and Aiden; and his sister Margaret Wells of Utica. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
