He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover C. and Pauline (Laird); and his wife Linda Jeanne Civitelli. He is survived by: his close friends, Rex Reed, Grover Cleveland Harris IV, Trish Clement, Trevor, Lauren Harris and Pasquale Harris; his grandchildren, Ray Reed, Grover Cleveland Harris V, Leniece (Devayne Tappin), Dawsenia (Eddie Wade) and Myah Cherise Harris; and his cousin Mike Haynes of New Mexico. He is also survived by many foster children, and close personal friends.
