He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Eichler (Jack) and Mary Anne Eichler (Lynch); his brothers, Robert, Thomas and Kevin Eichler; and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Van Schaick, Eugene Smith and Richard O'Connor.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Hurd; his siblings, Mary Anne Van Schaick of Florida, Kathleen (Kate), John Nicoletta (Susan Eichler) of New Hartford, Linda Eichler and James Eichler (Nancy) of Syracuse; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Eichler of Whitesboro, Kathleen Smith of Rochester, Sandra O'Connor, David and Julie Hurd.
