She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wise and Gladys Wise (White); her sister Margaret; her brother-in-law David Strenz; her brother John; her sister-in-law Irene Wise; her brother Robert Wise; her daughters-in-law, Catherine Higgins and Sarah Knapp; her siblings-in-law, Sigfried, Joan Higgins, Paul, Marion Zetts, James and Rita Gallagher; her nephews, John David Strenz and Peter Higgins; and her niece Barbara Zetts Cantrell.
She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Higgins; her family Gladys; and her children, Robert Higgins, Mark Higgins, Joseph Higgins (Francesca), Stephen Higgins (Kathryn), John Higgins (Deborah), Michael Higgins (Karen Goodrich), David Higgins (Deborah), Mary Higgins and Kathleen Higgins. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
