He is survived by: his son John "JP" (Mary); his grandchildren, Arica, Craig Briggs and Elaina Fanelli; his daughter Lenora Fanelli Mihavetz; his grandchildren, Kailey and Kara; his son George R., Jr. (Nicola); his grandsons, George, Rocco and Antonio; his son David (Maria); his grandchildren, Gianna, Giulia and David; his great grandchildren, Abriana and Charlee-Joan; his brother John P.; his sister-in-law Ruth Fanelli (Cozza); his in-laws, Mary Hamilton and John Dundorf; his godson Rocco Fanelli; and his friend Lucretia Humphrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins with special mention of his nephew.
A Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church (648 Jay St, Utica, NY 13501).
