He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mitchell and Edwin (Eddie). He is survived by: his children, Maria Roat (Douglas Sahrbeck), Joseph Jakubowski (Jamal) and Michael Jakubowski; his granddaughters, Stephanie Roat, Jessica Roat and Madeline Roat; his sister Helen Gollegly; his nieces, Jackie and Sandy Jakubowski; and his nephew Peter Jakubowski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. Volodymyr, 296 Genesee St., Utica, NY 13502.
