It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Ezekiel Stubbs Sr. (Utica, New York), who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Berry Stubbs and Mamie Stubbs (Collins); and his brothers, Howard, Robert, Herman, Charles and Barry.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Carter; his children, Floyd Stubbs Jr., Yvonne Stubbs, Cyril Stubbs Sr. (Aisha), Cedric Stubbs, Sr. (DeChanta), Darren Stubbs, Sr. (Kimberly), Phaedra Hagan (Sean), Abby Stubbs, Christy Terrell (Kellic), Corey Stubbs, Sr. (Hazel) and Allison Stubbs; his stepdaughters, Yolanda Whiting and Kayla Lazore; his siblings, Jacqueline Harris (Paul), Naydean Stubbs (Clarence Dunham) and Walter Stubbs, Sr.; and his close friend Carrie Heyward. He is also survived by family; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
