It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther S. Sherline (Utica, New York), who passed away on October 15, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyman Slakter and Rose Slakter (Elias); her brother Malcom Slakter; her uncle Harry Elias; and her parents-in-law, Edward and Rose Sherline.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Sherline Jenny (Tom), Alan Sherline and Debra Sherline (Joseph Houghtaling); her grandchildren, David Sherline (Kelli), Erin Sherline Scalise (Sam), Ryan Jenny (Rocio Martinez) and Brett Jenny (Anissa Clemons); her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob, Katie, Brooke Sherline, Ethan, Rachel, Anna Jenny, Skyler, Jaden, Alexa and Riley Clemons; her parents-in-law, Jay, Ellen Sherline, Sandi Sherline, Martha Sherline and Nancy Slakter; and her friend Lynn Igoe.
