It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. Kopek (Utica, New York), who passed away on March 3, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Kopek and Michalina Zwarycz Kopek; and his siblings, Walter Kopek (Stella), Marion Chrabas (Frank), Rose Sergott (John), Josephine Zebiak (Stanley), John "Neil" Kopek (Irene), Stephanie and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Zebiak; his children, Elaine (Wayne Yerdon) of Lexington, NC and Kevin (Renee) of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Laura Sarif (Chris), Bradley Kopek (Aislinn), Tina Yerdon and Lisa McKenzie (Franklin); and his great grandchildren, Madison, Morgan Hoban, Karina, Liani Kopek, Henry and Margot McKenzie.
