He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hyatt and Edna Hyatt Barrett (Eckert); his wife Clara T. Camillo; his sons, Brian of Edmond, II and James "Jaime" Hyatt; his sister Anita Barrigar; and his granddaughter Stephanie Hyatt.

He is survived by: his children, Teddi, Joe Minuti of New Hartford, Michael Hyatt, Sharon Beene of Jarrell, TX and Joseph Hyatt of Boonville; and his daughter-in-law Claudia Hyatt. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
