He was predeceased by: his parents, John Snyder and Elizabeth Snyder (Allen); his siblings, Elizabeth and John; his brother-in-law Leo; his nieces, Carolyn, Joann and Michelle; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Ann, John Miller, Kathaleen and Albert Stiglmeier.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Theresa Higgins; his children, Graceanne Quinn (Patrick), John H. Snyder (Renee Carlson), Elizabeth Fortino (Philip) and Mary Radel (Patrick); his grandchildren, Joseph D., Matthew G., John T. Quinn, Sarah C., Robert C., Caitlin M., Donald J. Snyder, Thomas A., Christopher J. Fortino, Luke P., Mark D. and John P. Radel; his siblings, Jeannine (James Mannix), William (Sharon) and Gerard (Byron); and his sister-in-law Janet. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
