He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Barksdale and Muriel Norma Barksdale (Purdy); and his wife Florence "Flo" Barksdale (Watkins). He is survived by: his daughter Tracy E. Grossman (Barksdale). He is also survived by brothers; in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
