He was predeceased by: his father Michael J. Olsen. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Olsen (Pfluke); his daughter Emilia Grace Olsen; his siblings, Stacy Mastrosimone, Michael Olsen (Melissa), Brandon Olsen, Nicole Olsen, Christopher Olsen, Audrey Olsen and Kayleigh Olsen (Justin); his close friend Jon Cramer; and also Stephanie DeGrace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Cory's name to Emilia Grace Olsen College Fund, checks payable to Stephanie DeGrace.
